The Power of the Resurrection

Dear Saints,

I hope that you enjoyed Resurrection weekend as much as our family did. We took special time this year around our dining room table to read the biblical story, pray, and worship. I’m grateful for church services and events around this time, but my wife and I felt the prompting of the Holy Spirit to make room for Him in our home. Tears streamed down my face as I watched my four children engage the Lord in a special way this past weekend. It was precious.

I love what Timothy Keller says regarding the Resurrection. He says, “If Jesus rose from the dead, then you have to accept all that He said; if He didn’t rise from the dead, then why worry about any of what He said? The issue on which everything hangs is not on whether or not you like His teaching, but whether or not He rose from the dead.”

As we now head towards Pentecost, I wanted to make you aware of a book that I have written on the subject of consecration and an e-course I have done with my good friend, Mario Murillo, concerning the end-time harvest of souls that is upon us. We’re living in a day and age where the call to deeper levels of consecration is being labeled as legalism by those who are not passionately in love with Jesus. Not only that, but we’re seeing a departure from the pure message of repentance, holiness, and consecration in many evangelistic circles who have desired to make the message of the cross more palatable to the masses. Although some may have good intentions, the reality is that when we water down the Gospel, we strip it of it’s power to save and transform lives!

In light of this, I believe that the Lord is raising up pure messengers in this hour who will not only preach the full council of God’s Word, but whose very lives will embody the message that they’re carrying. The Lord is gripping the hearts of His people with the eternal realities of heaven/hell and how He has called each one of us to be a soul-winner. Not only that, but He is purifying His Bride and drawing us into a deeper realm of consecration that is birthed out of fresh encounters with His great love. How glorious!

If you’re desiring more training on how to reach your lost loved ones with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and want to learn more about the connection between consecration and effectively reaching the lost, then make sure to take advantage of these resources today! My prayer is that the Lord would stir a fresh burden on the inside of you to draw closer to His heart and that you would be emboldened to share about the power of His resurrection to the world around you.

Marked for Eternity,
